About Me & Anders Around The World

Hi Fellow Adventurers!

Welcome to my humble project, where I attempt to realize my greatest dream -with your help.

My name is Anders Hjorth, and I am a 30 year old Danish IT entrepreneur, who have grown tired of 50-60 hour work weeks in cyberspace. I want to be more out in the sun, so now I have borrowed as much money as the bank would let me and unplugged from everything to pursue my deepest adventure thrills, while I still can.

I have packed my motorcycle, tent and camera and are now riding east to go all the way around the world. 24 countries, 4 continent, 10 months, 60.000 km and NO IDEA WHAT I SHOULD SEE.

Travel with Me Around the World

In an attempt to share my adventures and this radical change of lifestyle, I have decided to make an adventure webTV show I call “Anders Around The World”. It’s real reality videos from the road. Here you can travel along with me around the world. I try not to plan ANYTHING and instead of reading guidebooks and studying maps, I outsource that part to YOU. Visit my Youtube Channel.

I ride and film – you help me where I should go, what I should try and who I should meet. ;-)

YOU Decide my Next Adventure.

I can not complete my dream without your help and involvement. My budget and country knowledge are so limited, that I have to rely on help and suggestions from YOU and other local adventures to guide me where to go and what to see. Therefore always feel free to share or comments on my posts, videos or facebook updates.

Follow Me Real-Time

On my website and on facebook you can find my exact location in real time and email or SMS me suggestions and tips for my next adventures. Is there a castle I should see, local food I should test or a sofa I could sleep on? Let me know.

  1. Hope all is well. Just sent you $ 300.00, hope it helps. I would love to purchase your video when ready (say $ 35.00). After Argentina, do you go to Brazil? On to Africa? Or do you end at Argentina. Good luck to you, ride safe.

    Regards,

    Robert Sokulski

  2. Hi Anders
I left you a gift on your bank-account :) . I am looking forward to seeing the DVD when it is done. You are living the dream!
Is that an XT660R on the picture above? I have the same model – And I am thinking about taking it on a longer trip one day…
Please confirm you have received the money – you have my email.
Safe travels – loved the episode from San Blas in Panama. I was there a year ago – but without the bike – nice to know you can cross with a bike too :) .
